Best Dying Light 2 cheats and secrets
How to repair weapons in Dying Light 2?
The game does not explicitly state this, but all weapons have a limited lifespan in Dying Light 2, and unfortunately, there’s no definitive technique to fully restore them. Weapon Mods are the key to keeping your favorite weapon longer.
Each mod that may be added restores durability to the item by about 50 points. The number of mods you can apply to a weapon depends on its grade of rarity:
- Rare Weapons have 1 Tip Socket.
- Unique Weapons have 1 Tip and 1 Shaft Socket.
- Artifact Weapons have 1 Tip, 1 Shaft, and 1 Grip Socket.
If you play your hand well, you can gain up to 150 durability points back.
The problem is that modifications to weapons improve their effectiveness, so you don’t want to wait too long before modding your weapons to give them the boost they need. To get the most out of your weapon’s durability, you’ll have to play with it for a while, mod it once, use it some more, and mod it again.
How to find Artifact Weapons in Dying Light 2?
Artifact (Gold Tier) weapons are the best ones you can use in the game, but it’s not really easy to find one. But with the help of some tricks, you may be able to find them much sooner. There are several small green GRE Military Trailers all over Villedor that need a GRE Key to enter.
They aren’t marked on the map, but if you discover and unlock one, you’ll always find a slew of rare goodies inside, as well as a randomized Artifact Tier Weapon. The weapon will always be at your current level, however, the only disadvantage is that once you take possession of it, it won’t reappear later. Only take these when you need an upgrade since having too many low-level artifact weapons, in the long run, may be detrimental.
You can loot inhibitor containers over and over
Every GRE Inhibitor Container you discover will generally offer you with one to three Inhibitors to help you improve your stamina and health, but they also contain other useful items. It means you can come back and collect more health and immunity packs, as well as more equipment time and again if you’re aware of where an Inhibitor Container appears.
The best one to capitalize on is when you get to Villedor’s Central Loop area. You’ll find an Inhibitor Container near your newly constructed stash and bed as soon as you leave the Metro station. You may fast travel to the metro and loot the containers, again and again, ensuring that you’ll never run out of medkits or immunity boosts!
