Tesla’s Model 3 broke into the top 20 best-selling cars in Europe, according to the research conducted by JATO Dynamics in which they tracked 28 European markets. Also, according to the data, plug-in electric vehicles increased their market share to 19%.

The Tesla Model 3 registrations increased by 64% over the previous year, with a fresh high of 27,358 in December. It was 85,713 one year ago. It’s enough to put it in 17th place among Europe’s best-selling cars. Tesla also topped the charts twice in December and September.
Tesla sold approximately 95,247 electric vehicles in 2019, whereas in 2020 it sold only 87,642, coming right after the Renault ZOE with 99,613 sales. Data for 2021 is not yet accessible.

Tesla was the #21 most popular brand in Europe, behind MINI but ahead of Mazda, Jeep, Land Rover, Porsche, and Mitsubishi. For a firm that just started selling automobiles in Europe last year, this isn’t bad at all.
