Samsung is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Tab S8 series at the event, alongside its smartphones.

The firm’s invitation reads:

Join Samsung Electronics on February 9, 2022 for the next Galaxy Unpacked as we set an epic new standard for smartphones with the most noteworthy S series ever created.”

Samsung Galaxy S22 series expected specs

The latest leaks suggest that Samsung Galaxy S22 will come with a 6.06-inch dynamic AMOLED display. Again, according to the rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ may have a 6.5-inch dynamic AMOLED display, whereas the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to feature an LTPO Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. All phones will support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 SoC, depending on the market.

Both smartphones are expected to have a 10MP front-facing camera, like the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21+. Although, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer a triple camera setup on the back with a higher quality:a 108MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10MP telephoto lens. Not to mention the 32MP front camera.
