The design seen in Samsung’s picture matches unofficial leaks and rumors. The Android tablet will have a 14.6-inch OLED display offering 2960×1848 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to these unconfirmed reports. The notch is said to contain two 12MP selfie cameras. The second sensor is not exactly clear what it’s for, but other smartphones have incorporated ultrawide cameras for group pictures. The tablet is also said to have two cameras on the back, 13MP main and 6MP ultra-wide.
Again, according to the rumors, this tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It will offer up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage capacity. It will come with an 11,200 mAh battery and S Pen support. There are some reports indicating that there will also be a 5G version.
Galaxy Tab S8 series will offer three tablets, S8, S8 Plus and S8 Ultra. The rumors suggest that all of these tablets will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and they will support S Pen.
The S8 Plus will come with a smaller 12.7-inch OLED display and a 10,090mAh battery But the standard model, S8, might also feature an 11-inch LCD and an 8,000mAh battery.
Right now these specs are not official and we don’t know when these tablets will hit the market. But the best possibility would be February 8th, because Samsung is expected to introduce Galaxy S22 lineup on this day.
