Huawei’s former sub-brand, Honor, has unveiled a new foldable smartphone called Magic V through official Twitter and Weibo accounts.

According to the Weibo post, the “folding flagship is about to be released” but there no exact official release date is mentioned.

We’ve already covered Honor’s intentions to release a foldable smartphone back in July, now we know exactly what the device is called.
Right now we don’t know any details about the form factor or specs of Magic V, but the report published by The Elec indicates that the new foldable smartphone will be equipped with an 8.03-inch inner screen and 6.45-inch outer screen. If this information is true, Magic V might look a lot like the Samsung Z Fold series.
