Cloud computing platform Amazon Web Services (AWS) has suffered from an outage today, these issues affected important services like Epic Games, Slack, Imgur.
AWS experiences the third outage this month
DownDetector, which tracks user outage reports, showed more than 1,300 reports related to problems with Amazon’s cloud computing network. Amazon’s status page shared an update very early this morning, which confirmed “increased EC2 launch failures and networking connectivity issues” in its USE1-AZ4 availability zone.
“This is affecting availability and connectivity to EC2 instances that are part of the affected data center within the affected Availability Zone,” the company said. “We continue to work to address the issue and restore power within the affected data center,” they added.
A major AWS outage also occurred earlier this month for approximately five hours, severely impacting many businesses that rely on the system for operations. At the time of writing, the issues look to be solved.
