There have been rumours about Apple’s release of a new bigger, more powerful iPhone SE in 2023 after the updated version in 2022, but until now, there haven’t been any leaks of an actual product that would confirm those rumours.

Previously, Kuo has said the iPhone SE coming next year would have a new processor and 5G like the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, Apple’s most recent iPhone models.

Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo from Apple Insider has claimed the iPhone SE is likely to receive an upgraded processor in addition to a 5G network to boost its feature set and become the “cheapest 5G iPhone ever.”

Kuo has also said that Apple’s new iPhone SE will be a solid update to the 2022’s model, adding a better CPU and the new 5G radio. This will give Apple a lower price point to attract parents who want to get their kids an iPhone rather than an Android device.

Multiple sources have indicated a new budget iPhone is on the way in the first half or even the first quarter of next year. Ross Young has suggested the new 2022 version will be a ‘Plus’ variant of the iPhone SE. However, Kuo seems to indicate this may be coming in 2023 instead. Apple recently released its best iPhones yet with the iPhone 13 lineup featuring all-new cameras, a new processor, and 120Hz display technology in the Pro models.

According to several sources, a new budget iPhone as a ‘Plus’ variant is expected to be released next year. However, some still believe that whether it is a ‘Plus’ variant of an iPhone SE or not, it will be released in 2023. Apart from the rumours about the new iPhone SE, iPhone 13 lineup is recently released with all-new cameras, new processors, and new displays in the Pro models.
