For iOS and macOS users, the popular online encyclopedia Wikipedia just introduced a modest yet useful new feature. Apple Pay is now supported on Wikipedia, making it easier for people to give money to the non-profit organization.
Wikipedia now accepts donations via Apple Pay
From now on there will be an Apple Pay button located near the credit card and PayPal buttons, according to Nikolaj Hansen-Turton on Twitter.

From now on Apple users will be able to make donations to Wikipedia with their iPhones and Macs using the Apple Wallet app.
The Wikimedia Foundation’s Wikipedia is a non-profit project, it does not charge users. Wikipedia continues to require donations from people who visit the site in order to keep it operational.
Wikipedia: “We’re a non-profit that depends on donations to stay online and thriving, but 98% of our readers don’t give; they simply look the other way. If everyone who reads Wikipedia gave just a little, we could keep Wikipedia thriving for years to come. The price of a cup of coffee is all we ask. Wikipedia is a place to learn, not a place for advertising.”
It’s worth noting, though, that Apple Pay availability is still being expanded gradually across the world. Depending on your present location, you may not be able to discover it just yet. For more information, go to the official statement.
