The first expansion of the Twitter Blue paid subscription service has been announced. In conjunction with those in Australia and Canada, users from the United States and New Zealand are now able to register. Also, the platform has unveiled some of the new features of the new service.
Twitter Blue is a premium monthly paid service that was launched in June and it gives users access to additional tweet features, such as undo tweets, new mobile app color themes and more.

Users from specified regions are now able to experience these exclusive features of Twitter Blue for $2.99 per month.
Twitter Blue offers the following features for subscribers:

- Color theme: Choose from a variety of color palettes for your UX display in the app.
- Dedicated support: Get access to expert client service.
- Reader mode: Create tweet threads that are clutter-free and easy to read.
- Bookmark folders: Organize your saved tweets into relevant topic folders.

But it doesn’t stop right there. The platform is looking to add new tools. Twitter brings “ad free articles” for iOS and Desktop users, according to Twitter Blog:
“On iOS and desktop, Twitter Blue members will enjoy a fast-loading, ad-free reading experience when they visit many of their favorite news sites available in the US from Twitter, such as The Washington Post, L.A. Times, USA TODAY, The Atlantic, Reuters, The Daily Beast, Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, Insider and The Hollywood Reporter.”
As it grows the Blue program, Twitter says it will look to include additional publications, which might make it worth $3 per month depending on your reading habits.

Twitter is also adding another crucial Scroll function, Nuzzel in tweet form is returning. Blue subscribers will be able to see the most-shared stories throughout their Twitter network over the previous 24 hours, showcasing the key trends of interest among your tweet community.
It can be a great way to stay on top of important stories, as well as things you would otherwise have missed based on what’s catching fire among your following list.
In addition to this, Twitter users will be able to personalize their navigation bar located at the bottom of their feed. This way they will be able to reach the app’s features in a more customized way.
Finally, thanks to Twitter Blue Labs, subscribers will be the first ones to try out the upcoming features of the platform. Think of it as an Insider program.
Just a friendly reminder, these features are only available for users from the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia, for now.
