How to search for files and apps in Windows 11?
There are several methods for quickly locating apps or files on Windows 11.
Windows+S
You can simply search for applications, documents and files in Windows 11 by pressing the Windows+S hotkey at any time. Start typing in the search window as soon as it appears, and results will appear below. If you’d like to limit your search by a certain category, click one of the headings just below the search bar. For example, if you are looking for an app click on “Apps.”
Use the search button located on the taskbar
You may access the Windows Search menu at any moment by clicking the search icon in your taskbar (which resembles a magnifying glass). If you don’t see this icon on your taskbar, simply go to Settings and enter to Personalization, then click on Taskbar, choose Taskbar Items and turn on the switch located next to “Search.”
