Now that Twitter is attempting to make Spaces a bigger part of the app experience, it’s released a significant update that might help it go even farther.

one feature youāve been asking for is Spaces Recording and the ability to replay. Some hosts on iOS will now be able to record their Spaces and share it out to their audience. pic.twitter.com/Puz78oCm4t

As you can see, certain Spaces hosts will now be able to change a switch in the Space set-up procedure, which will allow them to record and distribute audio, while also maximizing the option’s value.
Hosts will be able to download the audio of their podcast, which they may then modify as a podcast or as audio clips to help promote future shows.
Twitter added a recording option to Spaces
Furthermore, the audio will not just include downloaded files; previously aired Spaces will be made available for people to listen to in-app as well.
Even if it is not as popular as the original, ephemeral style that saw audio social conversations gain traction in the first place, adding more features and functionality to Spaces may help it grow in value.
Recordings are another key aspect, and itāll be interesting to see how Spaces usage evolves as a result.
