How to open the touch keyboard on Windows 11?
To bring up the touch keyboard icon, we need to go to Windows Settings. Just Right-click on the taskbar and enter “Taskbar Settings.”
Then just enter Personalization go to the Taskbar section. Select the “Taskbar Corner Icons” option and in the next menu, turn on the switch next to “Touch Keyboard.”
You’ll see a keyboard icon in the taskbar from now on. If you click on that icon a virtual keyboard will be opened above the taskbar.
You can use this virtual keyboard to type in any compatible application. Windows 11 also allows us to move this keyboard around. Just tap onto the upper-center part of the keyboard and hold your finger. As you move your finger across the screen the virtual keyboard will also move. You can place it anywhere on the screen.
You can always click on the “X” button to close the touch keyboard. If you want to remove the icon from the taskbar just go to Taskbar Settings again and turn the switch off.
