ColorOS 12 public beta is now available: OnePLus 9 users can enjoy the new UI

According to company sources, the OnePLus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will abandon HydrogenOS in China and switch to ColorOS. From now on, OnePlus and Oppo users can register to participate in the public beta.

ColorOS 12 public beta is out for OnePLus 9 users

This new version comes right after the closed beta that was released in September. In the coming weeks, the Oppo Find X3 and Oppo Find X3 Pro will be released alongside the OnePlus 9 models. ColorOS 12 will be available on each of them, with a different version for each brand.

The A.11 version of OxygenOS is scheduled to be released for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, while the Find X3 Pro will get version A.27.

Thanks to this update, these new phones will come with some new features such as Quick Glance cards, Smart Sidebar alongside some improvements that will optimize RAM usage and battery life.
