Users will be able to alter the playback speed of videos on Twitter’s new feature.
Twitter options for changing video playback speed
Twitter has already presented us with different functions dedicated to improving the display of images. Some of the features are now available in the app, while others are still in beta. It’s time for videos now.
If you don’t want to fast-forward through a video because you don’t want to miss anything, you’ll appreciate Twitter’s planned dynamic. As Jane Manchung Wong mentions, Twitter wants to offer different speed options for video playback.
As you can see in the screenshot she shares on her Twitter account, the user will be able to switch between 0.5x, normal, 1.5x, and 2x. Although you won’t discover all of YouTube’s speeds for video playback adjustment, you will have numerous alternatives.
You can also access a number of options by simply tapping the tiny gearwheel on the video player. So you may play a movie quicker if you are in a rush. You may also use the 0.5x option if the material goes too quickly for your liking.
At present, this innovation appears to be in its early days, so it hasn’t even gone through the prototype stage. So we’ll have to wait and see if Twitter adds this choice to the platform in the near future.
In the meanwhile, we’re waiting for additional Twitter functions that are now in beta, such as tags to identify bot accounts or the ability to remove followers without blocking them.
