The Nokia T20 is a tablet with a great technological future that will be a fantastic oddity under the Finnish company. HMD Global has scheduled an event for October 6, and we anticipate seeing it there.
Nokia was for 15 years the world’s leading phone manufacturer, a distinction it held until the iPhone revolutionized the industry with its first release, opened the era of mobility in which we still find ourselves, and changed the market with new players who bet on incipient smartphones.
Nokia’s failure to dominate the market in smartphones has been attributed to a variety of reasons, including poor marketing and design. For example, despite their many phones of all sorts, multiple inventions, and technological advancements, they could not replicate the success of tablets or even establish a presence in this area.
When Microsoft acquired Nokia, however, the brand was not prominent in tablets, even as the market was exploding with a strong rate of development fueled by the first iPads. However, we observed several efforts like the Lumia 2520, which was one of the few Windows RT-based devices marketed in 2015, or Nokia’s N1 tablet with Intel inside and Android as the operating system, which attempted to compete against the iPad mini.
Now, HMD Global, the Finnish group that acquired Nokia’s assets, believes it is time to position the brand in tablets as demonstrated by a recent tweet to promote its October 6 event. It is only possible while utilizing tablet sizes.
Our family keeps growing.

How the Nokia T20 will look like?
From the (unofficial) information that has reached us so far, it would be a basic tablet with a 10.3-inch screen, a Unisoc ARM processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage capacity, and Wi-Fi and 4G cellular connectivity.
Specifications that are nothing special, to be honest. They’re clearly targeted at the entry-level. The good news is that the price will be competitive and should be quite affordable. A new Nokia-branded tablet will be announced as a major story.
HMD Global’s event is scheduled for October 6 and we also expect the new Nokia G50 5G smartphone with almost 7 inches and Snapdragon chipsets to be unveiled.
