Following the debut of Marshall Mode II, the well-known amplifier brand continues its adventures in the consumer market, releasing the new Marshall Motif ANC, as well as the first True Wireless headphones with active noise cancellation technology from Marshall.
These headphones feature Marshall’s proprietary 6mm dynamic drivers, which deliver a distinctive sound to the other versions, with louder volume, deeper bass, and clearer treble. The frequency range is 20 Hz to 20 kHz and customizable EQ settings are available in the companion app.
Other notable features include IPX5 moisture protection, wireless charging support, dual microphones for calls, and touch controls.
The ANC function is fully customizable, allowing you to set your own level of noise cancellation and transparency. Thus, even with the ANC functions turned on continuously, the company claims that you can get up to four and a half hours of playback time from the Motif ANC headphones on a single charge and an additional 20 hours of battery life with the included charging case.
Thus, it highlights the presence of Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, touch controls, and a built-in microphone for taking calls or accessing voice assistants and audio control itself.
Availability and price of Marshall’s new True Wireless ANC Headphones
Maintaining its high-end character, and therefore exclusivity, the Marshall Motif ANC arrives at a high price of $234, already available through pre-order through its website. Although it is worth noting that the price difference compared to its predecessors is not as great as the great improvement of its features, making them quite interesting headphones.
And as we were saying, these products are not merely focused on their aesthetic aspect, but we have the backing of a leading brand in the audio sector, with a sound quality that is more than matched.
