WhatsApp is developing a new function that will let you remove unwanted messages automatically, according to WhatsApp. The software will provide four options for auto-deleting messages in specified discussions.
There are a lot of messaging apps available right now like Telegram, Signal, iMessage, and WhatsApp. Each one of them releases new features every month and in the rivalry between these tech giants, Facebook‘s app comes in front by introducing a new privacy measure.
WhatsApp will offer a new disappearing messages feature
This new function is related to disappearing messages, the application will let us auto delete some conversations. The rumors were started last year, but now we know more information about this new tool. A new leak showed us that there will be four options when we want to auto-delete messages.
WhatsApp will offer four timer options to auto-delete the conversations
The first option is to leave this feature disabled, of course. If we want to use the feature, we will be able to choose between three options:
- 1 day
- 7 days
- 90 days
When we first use the disappearing messages function, the settings will apply. Obviously, old conversations will not be erased.At the moment, WhatsApp is testing this function, so we don’t know when it will be included in the finished product.
