According to a survey, Android users in the United States use TikTok more than YouTube on a daily basis.
TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms on the market right now, especially among younger people all around the world.
TikTok’s popularity is steadily growing, and now a study has shown that Android users spend more time viewing material on this social network than they do on YouTube. This is certainly one of those cases where you can’t argue with the facts.
Users spend more time per day on TikTok than on YouTube
According to research by App Annie, Android users in the United States now spend more time playing material on TikTok than they do on YouTube, which has traditionally been one of the most popular sites.
Users spend 26 hours per month on TikTok, compared to 24 hours on Google’s video platform since last June.
This difference exists not only in the United States but is even greater in the United Kingdom, where Android users consume 26 hours per week on TikTok compared to 16 hours per week on YouTube.
This information was obtained from Android cellphones, thus we can’t make broad claims about it. Nonetheless, the statistics show how popular ByteDance’s social network has become.
On the other hand, YouTube has been tweaking and enhancing its platform for months in order to improve the user experience and encourage users to spend more time on it. So we may see even more interesting things from them soon.
