Today we will tell you how to remove TikTok red filter in videos. The Silhouette Challenge has become TikTok’s most popular challenge in 2021. This challenge consists of making a transition from a normal video to a video with a red filter where only the silhouette of the person can be seen.
TikTok was the most downloaded application in 2020. Much of its success lies in the viral challenges that attract the attention of millions of users.
The platform’s challenges consist of recording oneself performing a challenge proposed by other users. In 2021, the most popular has been the Silhouette Challenge and its characteristic red filter.
The filter in question is not found on TikTok, but we can use other platforms to make this type of video. It has several names depending on the application we use: “Vin Rouge” on Snapchat and “Red” by Sasha on Instagram.
In contrast to this challenge, a trend has emerged that aims to put an end to the exaggerated amount of Silhouette Challenge videos posted daily on the platform. This is because the videos of this challenge have become very popular, overshadowing the other posts that can be found on TikTok.
How to remove TikTok red filter in videos?
Many of us may be scared by the idea of editing a video, as it does not seem an easy task at first. That’s why we recommend using applications such as Picsart, Inshot, and Viva that offer quality editing in a simple way. In our case, we will edit the video using Picsart.
To install the application we just have to do the following:
- We go to the App store on our cell phones.
- We look for the Picsart application and click on it.
- Click on “Install”.
Once we have the application installed, we can start editing the video as follows:
- We go to the “Picsart” application.
- Click on the purple circle with the plus symbol at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the video with the red filter that you want to edit.
- Click on “Adjust”.
- Click on “Saturate”.
- We lower the saturation, we can choose the one we prefer.
- We select the “Apply”, the option that is in the upper right corner of our screen.
If we have followed the instructions correctly, our edited video will be in the gallery where we can share it with our friends, family, or whomever we want.
