Samsung might be getting ready to launch a Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 laptop. That’s what one of the most established Samsung smart device leakers on Twitter, Ice Universe, has shared. He tweeted a picture of what looks like an official logo for a Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 laptop.

In the video published in mid-May, you can observe a variety of applications for a “17-inch Foldable Laptop,” as well as other features. We were informed at the time that the sample in the film had a 4:3 aspect ratio foldable display. A folding screen with a screen like this would result in two separate display areas with diagonals of about 12.5 inches each.

So the gadget would feature a foldable 17-inch display (when unfolded) and Samsung may market it as a laptop with a touchscreen keyboard rather than an enormous folding tablet. However, based on Samsung’s previous concept video, the device should be able to perform both jobs.

The Galaxy Book Fold 17 is expected to have an under-display camera

It’s impossible to predict what other features the “Galaxy Book Fold 17” will have at this time. The concept announced before was truly ambitious. It featured extremely narrow bezels all around and an Under-Display Camera (UDC), which it referred to as an Under-Panel Camera (UPC) at the time.

Unofficial leak suggests that Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 might be in the worksEven if Samsung is working on a 17-inch foldable laptop for the consumable market, there’s no assurance that it will feature UDC technology, or even resemble what was shown in Samsung Display’s presentation. Samsung, on the other hand, believes that UDC technology is appropriate for big-screen smartphones like the Galaxy Z Fold 3, so it’s only natural to apply it to a larger 17-inch laptop/tablet as well.

Unofficial leak suggests that Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 might be in the worksThere is currently no information about a release date, but if the Galaxy Book Fold 17 is genuine, we’ll learn more about it in the weeks and months ahead. It would be the company’s first device of its kind, so it’s significant.
