The new GoPro Hero 10 has been fully leaked, including its images. It will have a 5.3K recording at 60fps, better stabilization, and more resolution on the sensor.
There are times when leaks are nothing more than guides to understand what direction a company’s future releases will take. Now it is the turn of the GoPro Hero 10, which has been leaked in full.
All kinds of press images of the future GoPro Hero 10 Black have been leaked. In addition, some of its features have been leaked, revealing some of the improvements that this new generation of action cameras will have over the last GoPro Hero 9 Black.
In addition to including a new processor, this new camera will be able to record videos in 5.3K at 60fps, as well as 4K videos at 120fps and 2.7K videos at 240 fps, which will be ideal for making slow-motion videos or time-lapses. And that’s far from the only thing that has been leaked.
GoPro Hero 10 leaked specs
As the leak shows, the resolution will be upgraded from 20 to 23MP, which will be able to collect more light and in a better way. In addition, HyperSmooth 4.0 and TimeWarp 3.0 technologies would be upgraded; the former is the stabilization technology, while the latter is for timelapse videos.
This new GoPro Hero 10 Black is expected to have even more impressive stabilization, and the timelapse feature is expected to offer more configuration options, as well as better performance. Details such as waterproof housing to submerge the camera up to 10 meters, and a full touch screen with voice control will not be missing.
Normally we tend to take leaks with some skepticism because except in very specific cases they do not usually represent the fidelity of what will be the leaked product. However, these images look real; even the packaging of one of the GoPro Hero 10 kits has been leaked, confirming these same features, such as the GP2 processor or the 5.3K at 60 fps.
GoPro Hero 10 price and release date
Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing and availability. However, the fact that images have been leaked at such high quality, with boxes included, shows that we are only a few weeks away from GoPro unveiling this new gadget, which will presumably be more expensive than the last generation.
