While we wait for the invitation to the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7 unveiling event to arrive in our inboxes any minute now, we continue with late-breaking rumors. One of them points to the fact that we could see a one-millimeter increase in the size of the new Apple Watch.

Current Apple Watches come in two sizes: 40 and 44 millimeters. The new Apple Watch Series 7 could leap 41 and 45 millimeters respectively, which, along with much smaller bezels and flat glass, would result in a noticeably larger screen.

The source of the rumors can be found on Weibo, the Chinese social network, where user UnclePan has shared information about the future Apple Watch. A source and information that we should take with caution, but that makes sense within the evolution we are seeing in the various versions of the Apple Watch.

Remember that it was with the Apple Watch Series 4, in 2018, when we saw the only change to date in the size of our watches, going from 38 and 42 mm to the current 40 and 44. That now, three years later, we see, along with the rumored redesign with square edges, a slight increase in the diagonal makes quite a sense. According to the leaker, the existing straps will still be compatible with the new Apple Watch Series 7.

Between the design change, the new screen, the size of the screen, the reduction of the bezels, the new speakers, and the internal improvements in processor, it is clear that the Apple Watch Series 7 is called to mark a turning point in the Watch range. A renewal of which we will have to wait a short time to officially know all the details.
