This is Oppo’s new magnetic wireless charging system. Apple is said to be a trendsetter, as its initiatives are replicated by other companies in their respective products, and we have seen this not only with desktop computers but also with mobile devices.

In this regard, the Android ecosystem was already lacking its equivalent to Apple’s magnetic wireless charging system, which the bitten apple company launched alongside the iPhone 12.

Well, if a few weeks ago we saw Realme present its equivalent proposal called MagDart, being the first to arrive in the Android ecosystem, today Oppo has done the same at the Smart China Expo 2021 presenting MagVOOC, its new magnetic wireless charging system for mobiles.

For now, the mobile company is working on three MagVOOC accessories: a 20W portable magnetic charger, a 40W wireless magnetic charging base, and a 20W wireless power bank.

Regarding the first one, we know that it is a circular-looking option, much thinner and lighter than Realme’s compact option, which can be placed almost like a sticker, being compatible with the Qi standard and, as we pointed out, offers a maximum power of 20W.

Regarding the 40W wireless charging base, users will have the possibility of placing the phone horizontally or vertically, as desired, considering that it has magnetic adhesion, being able to charge a mobile with a 4,000mAh battery in about 56 minutes, and yes, it is also compatible with the Qi standard.

And finally, we go to the power bank, or portable battery, as you prefer to see, which can be attached to the back magnetically to the back of the mobile to be charged, although the charging capacity of this device is unknown, although it is also compatible with the Qi standard, allows wireless charging with a power of 20W and also wired with a power of 10W.

In addition to the presentation in the society of MagVOOC, Oppo also looks at the automotive sector bringing a number of technological innovations by which, for example, users will be able to open them without the need for a conventional physical key.

For now, it is known that its new technology relies on Bluetooth connectivity, having reached agreements with some brands for its implementation, although for the moment it has not offered more details about it.

Oppo also offers the possibility that users can turn on the heating or beep the car remotely through your mobile or smartwatch, although again the company has not wanted to offer more details about it.
