The arrival of Windows 11 has brought a series of innovations in the design, both to the operating system and to some of the most known tools of the system. Changes that have just begun and of which there is still much to see, something that Panos Panay has been in charge of making known, giving us an example Paint and the new design that they are already testing.
The popular application of Microsoft for vera-like, coinciding with the arrival of Windows 11, will arrive a renovation of Paint centered in changing the graphical aspect to make that the appearance is more coherent with the design of the new version of the operating system.
Paint will have a better integration in Windows 11
Right now in Windows 11, we find a version of Paint halfway between what should come and the one we have been using until now. It has curved corners, but the changes in the interface are minimal.

Now Panos Panay has published a brief preview of the new look that Paint will have through a video posted on his Twitter account. Along with the rounded corners, there is a design in which the color picker gives way from the palette with squares to the one formed by circles.
There are also more rounded corners, new icons, and above all a new dark theme that serves to better integrate Paint in the aesthetics of Windows 11 when we are using the background in dark tones. What is striking is that this renewed Paint still retains the ribbon design for its functions.
For now, this version of Paint is still under development, but Microsoft should not take too long to make it public, perhaps over the next few weeks.
