Microsoft continues to surprise users with the new features it will bring with Windows 11. Now it has shared some of the new applications that will come along with the new version of the operating system.
Yes, we will see important changes in the classic Windows applications, both in their design and in the dynamics of their functions.
Calculator, Calendar, and Mail are renewed in Windows 11
As mentioned by the Microsoft team, the Calendar, Calculator and Mail applications will receive a major redesign in Windows 11.
As for the design, we will see that they will follow the same style of Windows 11 with rounded edges and colors compatible with its color palette. These innovations will arrive at the applications of Mail and Calendar.
And in terms of functions, the applications will bring some new features. For example, the Calculator application has been rewritten from scratch in C#, so developers will be able to do their bit to enhance its dynamics. And of course, we will have all the modes and functions of the application… standard, scientific, graphing, scheduler, date calculator, unit and currency converter, etc.
And on the other hand, the Snipping tool will also have a new interface and more functions, as we mentioned in a previous article. A new dynamic will make it easier to take screenshots and pass them through a small edition, as it will have some basic tools.
Microsoft is already releasing this Windows 11 update for those who are part of the Windows Insiders program. So if you want to try out the new dynamic that Microsoft is proposing with these applications, you’ll have to join the beta.
Or you can wait for Microsoft to start rolling out Windows 11 officially. There is no concrete date for this launch yet, but it could be within a couple of months. In the meantime, the Microsoft team will continue to show us some previews of the changes we will see in Windows 11.
