Google has already launched the new Android 12 beta with some interesting new features. And among them, highlights the new dynamic that Android will implement to download or share images from any app.
There are applications such as Instagram, which do not allow you to save images on the device. So unless you resort to some trick or use some third-party tool, you will not be able to perform this action.
However, in the latest beta of Android 12, Google incorporates a dynamic that will facilitate saving images on the mobile from any app. Now thanks to a new option that is added to the recent app’s view, it will be possible.
If when we open this section of recent apps, Android detects an image in the app, it will display the icon at the bottom of the photo. By simply selecting that icon, a menu will be displayed with options to search for an item in Lens, copy it, save it or share it. Of course, for this dynamic to work, the application must show the photo in the foreground.
And of course, you can always count on the Share menu that we already know, which not only gives us all the available options but also shows us the frequent contacts to facilitate the process.
This system, from the recent apps view, seems to work on Instagram, Chrome, and other popular platforms. While it won’t be the ideal method for saving images from the app, it may be useful at some point and will save you from resorting to other tools.
At least, that is the dynamic presented in Android 12 beta 4, we will have to see if Google considers keeping this feature in the final version.
