At the official presentation of the Huawei P50, there was also time for accessories. We met the new Huawei Band 6 Pro, an improved version of the Huawei Band 6 from April, which continues to blur the barrier between activity bracelet and smartwatch.
The Huawei Band 6 Pro becomes Huawei’s most complete wristband, with all kinds of sensors onboard, including body temperature measurement, SpO2, and NFC connectivity for payments.

Huawei Band 6 pro features
Barely three months have passed since the Huawei Band 6 and the house already has an improved version. The appearance is very similar, with the same elongated body in which all the protagonism is taken by the 1.47-inch AMOLED screen. Like the previous model, it has a physical button on one of its sides.
In the Band 6 Pro, Huawei has crammed all the sensors and measurements it has around the house, including a curious system for detecting body temperature throughout the day. Later you can see what was the maximum and minimum that was recorded.
Other more traditional measurements are there, such as the continuous pulsometer, the measurement of the quality of sleep, the calculation of the amount of oxygen in the blood, or the measurement of stress. Of course, it also serves you to measure your exercise sessions, supporting 96 different activities and having its rings a la Apple Watch.
Another new feature of the Huawei Band 6 Pro is NFC connectivity for payments, provided the service is supported. Connectivity is completed with Bluetooth 5.0, with support for BLE and Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz.
The Huawei Band 6 Pro has a microphone and can be used to summon the Assistant, as well as a remote control for various functions on the mobile, from viewing messages and notifications to controlling music playback, viewing the weather, or as a remote shutter release for taking photos. It is compatible with Android and iOS, although on iOS the functions are more restricted.
Huawei Band 6 Pro price and release date
The Huawei Band 6 Pro is official for the moment in China, with no further news on its possible availability in other regions. It is available in two colors, for an official price of 449 yuan, which is around $69.
