Gboard will make it easier to copy the most prominent or important parts of a text to the clipboard with its new feature.
Gboard, also known as Google Keyboard, is the most used keyboard on Android phones worldwide. It is a keyboard that keeps updating regularly, introducing features that help make it better than its rivals. This keyboard now significantly improves the clipboard suggestions.
Gboard’s clipboard suggestions feature is a very useful feature by allowing you to complete information simply with a tap. The keyboard improves this feature now allowing us to extract important information from an entire text, preventing us from having to copy and paste everything.
Gboard detects important information
When you copy a text that has some information such as a phone number, and email address, or the address of a web page, Gboard will extract this information and put them as a separate option in the suggestions area. This will allow that if we want to copy only that data, it will be possible.
Thanks to this, users will not have to copy an entire text and then extract the phone number or email address, thus allowing much more efficient use of the keyboard on our Android phones. This feature was officially launched in June for the Google Pixel.
Google is starting to launch this feature for Gboard on more phones, at least in its beta with the number 10.8.06. At the moment this new option is not shown in the stable version of the well-known keyboard, but surely it will not take too long to arrive.
A change that promises to help better use of Google Keyboard on Android phones and that luckily will not be limited only to Pixel phones. We hope that in a few weeks it will arrive in a stable form.
