The countdown to the iPhone 13 has begun and more news and rumors are coming about it every day. Today we focus on the battery, and far from what you might imagine we are not going to talk about the capacity. The iPhone 13 is going to improve the quick charging capacity it has remarkably, will it be enough? Everything points to the fact that it will still be far behind the competition.
It is known that quick charging may seriously damage the durability of the battery when it is used continuously. As you well know, currently the iPhone 12 has 20W fast charging, something that is not remarkable if we consider the fast charging powers offered by Huawei or Xiaomi, however, taking into account the total capacity of the iPhone battery it may seem more than enough in terms of time.
The improvement will mean an increase from the current 20W to the 25W promised by the iPhone 13, which will not mean, we imagine, a noticeable reduction in charging times. For its part, MagSafe charging will remain at 15W, which is understandable considering the temperature problems this can cause. This information comes directly from the production line of the iPhone and its accessories in China, we are clear that it will come without the charger, as it happens now, but at least the paid alternative will offer better performance, still far from what the competition can offer.
