Brick phones are back. Do you remember when the cell phones of yesteryear did not fit in your trouser pocket? Nowadays, smartphones have contained sizes and the thickness of these devices is just a few millimeters, but years ago, many years ago, the phones could weigh up to a kilo.
Of course, these phones were not at all comfortable to use but they were forgiven because they were the first models on the market. What makes no sense is that now a brand comes along and wants to resurrect these horrible designs. No, we are not kidding. So sign up to the gym because this Chinese brand wants to bring back into fashion the brick mobiles.
Would you buy a brick phone?
AGM is a popular brand of Chinese rugged phones that has just introduced a phone that will not leave anyone indifferent. While all brands are betting on making thin phones, comes this manufacturer and does the opposite, launching a device that does not fit in any pants pocket.
We could call them brick mobiles and they populated the earth years ago, many years ago. We do not know the reasons why AGM wants to recover this design although we are sure that it will not be to the liking of many. You only have to see the advertising poster to realize that the mobile will not be small at all and much less light.
However, the phone will have a physical keyboard and everything points to it being a smartphone as it will include popular applications such as TikTok or WeChat.
Unfortunately, the firm has not given many more details. We do not know the price and launch date. However, one thing we are sure of is that this phone will not break when it falls to the ground… it looks like it will be really resistant!
