Samsung has just announced the Samsung Galaxy F22 in India, and we will tell you its specs, price and release date. It is a new member of the Galaxy F series, with F for photography. After more powerful launches like the Samsung Galaxy F62 or the Samsung Galaxy F52 5G, now it’s the turn of a mid-range with Helio G80 and a big battery.
Samsung is quite given to recycling phones in different markets by changing the letter, and in a way, the Samsung Galaxy F22 is something like a mixture of the Galaxy A22 4G and Galaxy M32. Among its strengths is the AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate.

90 Hz AMOLED screen
The Samsung Galaxy F22 does not reinvent the wheel in terms of design, being the same as most Galaxy M or Galaxy A phones located in the same range, the mid-range. It has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that boasts a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, although in return it remains in HD+ resolution.
The screen is interrupted at the top by the drop-shaped notch that surrounds the 1MP front camera. The fingerprint reader is not under the screen but is located on one of its sides, on the power button.
The phone includes one of the most repeated camera configurations, with a quad camera with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP camera for portrait mode.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 bets on MediaTek’s Helio G80, so it stays with LTE connectivity. It has two versions available: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and another with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In both cases, expandable via MicroSD.
Another strong point of the Samsung Galaxy F22 is in its battery, with a capacity of 6,000 mAh and 15W fast charging. The phone comes with Android 11 under the arm and Samsung One UI 3.1 on top and has NFC connectivity, so it supports Samsung Pay.
