Today we are going to show you how to save battery with the battery optimization mode on a OnePlus smartphone. This special feature allows the phone to spend less battery by automatically managing applications that consume too much power in the background.
By default, OnePlus adds to the many optimizations of Android 11 its own optimization modes, but we are going to explain all the details below.
How to save battery with the battery optimization mode on a OnePlus smartphone?
The OnePlus updated to the latest version of Android have an advanced optimization mode that allows you to automatically detect when an application is spending a lot of power.
To access this setting we just have to go to the battery settings and follow a few simple steps:
- Open the settings of your OnePlus
- Click on ‘Battery’.
- Click on ‘Battery Optimization’.
- Click now on the three dots (menu)
- Click on ‘Advanced Optimization’.
- Within this menu, click on ‘Optimize App Power Consumption’.
If you have never touched this mode, you will find two active and one inactive option in this menu. By default, the adaptive battery is active, a mode that detects the consumption of apps to regulate their consumption. Also, the sleep standby optimization is active by default. It is a mode through which network connections can be disabled when the phone is idle.
The one we are going to activate is called optimize app power consumption, a very useful feature that can help save even more battery when apps in the background consume too much power. It will work automatically unless we deactivate the feature.
