If you don’t know how to remove devices that have access to your Google account, we are going to help you out. Android phones that we use have access to our Google account, they are linked to it. Also, the old phones that you have used have access to that account, although when you stop using any of these devices it may be convenient to remove that access permission.
This allows us to have better management on our devices and if we sell that phone or give it to someone else, they won’t be able to access that account if you follow the steps below.
How to remove devices that have access to your Google account?
It is advisable to check from time to time which devices have access to your Google account. There is a page dedicated to this, where you can see the devices that have accessed that account in the last 28 days. Additional data is also provided.
If there are devices that you do not recognize or there are devices that you no longer use or will stop using, follow these steps below:
- Log in to the link we mentioned above.
- Sign in to your account (if you have not already done so).
- Check the devices that have access to the account.
- If you want more information, click on the device name.
- To remove a device, click on the three vertical dots.
- In the menu that appears, click on Logout.
This section allows you to keep track of which devices have access to your account at all times, in case there is one that you do not recognize, do what’s necessary. If there is something that should not be there, you can always remove that device from the list.
