MIUI is still far from perfect. Although Xiaomi’s mobile operating system improves with each update, the reality is that its inconsistencies and problems do not allow it to reach the level of the best Android customization layers.
But Xiaomi has a plan to put an end to MIUI’s problems in a faster and more efficient way. It is the new MIUI Pioneer Team, a team formed by a group of workers of the company, aimed at obtaining feedback from users to solve the main problems of MIUI in a more agile way.

Xiaomi has decided to form this team with the idea of “strengthening online communication with its users”, to obtain feedback on the problems that arise in the day-to-day life of consumers with Xiaomi smartphones. Such communication will be carried out directly through the forums enabled by Xiaomi for its user community.
The team covers aspects such as hardware optimization, quality assurance, and MIUI bug fixes.
One piece of good news is that the advances achieved by the MIUI Pioneer Team will not only affect the Chinese version of MIUI, integrated into devices sold in the brand’s home country. According to Xiaomi, their work will also benefit the global version of MIUI that millions of users around the world use every day.
We do not know if the work of this team could influence in any way the speed with which software updates arrive at the brand’s devices, a subject still pending for Xiaomi. For now, it does not seem that this mission is contemplated among the challenges of the MIUI Pioneer Team, but we trust that little by little.
