Many people look at their WhatsApp more often than their email or their Google Calendar, and for them, it can be very comfortable to have an assistant that is responsible for getting the scheduled meetings on your calendar and go alerting by WhatsApp so that nothing escapes.
That’s what the tool that I’m going to talk about today does, send automatic messages to WhatsApp with what it finds in Google Calendar.
How to receive Google Calendar meetings on WhatsApp?
This is WhatsApp Reminders, from Jiiko, a platform that only needs two steps to work:
- We inform our phone number so that it knows where to send WhatsApp messages.
- We give access to Google Calendar so that the tool can consult our meetings and various commitments.
It’s as simple as that. Once done, the bot will be in charge of putting alerts like the ones you see in the screenshot above, with a full agenda as soon as the day starts and individual messages every time a new event is about to begin.
Now they are working on a feature that will allow, also from WhatsApp, to create meetings in Calendar. With this function they want communication not to be unidirectional, we will be able to receive alerts and send requests to update our calendar, which makes us have a digital secretary attentive to everything that happens in our personal and professional life.
To work, it uses the WhatsApp business API, but it is only free for the first month.
