A few years ago it was curious to see how many users began to use the Apple smartwatch in their daily lives, but now the most normal thing is to see an Apple Watch on the wrists of people who appear in the media or our travels in public transport. The Apple Watch is popular, and the latest reports suggest that it is to blame for the increasing number of smartwatches being sold. Read on for the latest sales reports on the wearables market.

As we say, more and more smartwatches, or smartwatches, are being sold. The latest study conducted by the consultancy Counterpoint states that Apple has had great growth in this market thanks to the last two Apple Watch presented, and especially emphasize the importance of an entry-level model like the Apple Watch SE. After the Apple smartwatch, which dominates with a 33.5% market share in the second quarter of 2021, we find Tizen, which only has 8%, the rest is shared by other smaller brands, including Samsung, which has not yet hit the key to sales of its smartwatch.

Apple was able to further consolidate its market leadership position by expanding the Watch SE to the Series 6 portfolio at the right time. This may lead Samsung to launch a mid-price level model to drive growth.

These statements are easy to understand, in the end, we only have to look at how the smartwatch market is doing, and we see more and more manufacturers “copying” the Apple Watch design. All this together with a great operating system such as watchOS, which Google is watching out of the corner of its eye with its WearOS, who have wanted to leap the system in its latest version. We will see what they surprise us with from Cupertino, we are sure to have interesting software developments in the next Keynote in June, and news when they present the next Apple Watch in September.
