Today we were able to find out that Honor smartphones will be having Google services once more. After the restrictions, Huawei sold its subbrand to be able to enter the U.S market with Honor being independent. Now, the company is taking a big step forward in that goal by confirming that its new devices will have Google apps installed.
Earlier this year, the company announced that its next series would have Google services, something that the Chinese company itself has already confirmed through the official account of Honor Germany.
This account has responded to a question from a user about whether the next device would have Google services with a very clear answer: “Yes, we can confirm it”.
In this same tweet, the Chinese brand has also confirmed that this new smartphone will also feature the manufacturer’s customization layer, Magic UI, although in this case, they stated the software layer will be enhanced with some new features, which have not yet been revealed.
Thus, the Honor 50 will be the first mobile phone of the Chinese company to be launched with Google services installed since the United States imposed a series of strict sanctions.
Their main mission have been to re-establish its partnerships with technology companies such as Intel or Qualcomm. Now it is closing the circle with Google, something that will help the brand to regain its position in the market.
