The watchOS 7.5 Release Candidate is now available for developers. A version that arrives within the usual cycle of 15 days between releases and completes the arrival of the equivalent versions we have seen for iOS 14.6, iPadOS 14.6, and, later, tvOS 14.6.
After the release of the iOS and iPadOS 14.6 Release Candidate and also tvOS 14.6 Apple has presented the watchOS 7.5 Release Candidate. We do not expect practically anything new, especially if we take into account that watchOS has always been characterized by a much more progressive evolution than iOS and iPadOS.
What we do expect is the correction of some small bugs and to improve the overall performance of the devices. This is probably the last version 14.x that we will see before the official release of iOS and iPadOS 15. These versions will be presented at the next WWDC21 and will be in beta during the summer.
If we want to enter the beta cycle we can do so by following these steps, but it is necessary to keep in mind that we are talking about versions in development that contain bugs.
Already in the beta cycle, you will find the update in the Settings app as an OTA update. During the first hours, Apple servers may receive more demand than usual, so the waiting time may be longer. In Applesfera we are already updating our devices and we will update the article if new developments appear.
