Electronic Arts will not be part of E3 2021 but prepare its event. We are approaching E3 2021 and several companies have already confirmed that they will be part of this event. However, there were still companies that had not yet confirmed their attendance, such as Electronic Arts, which today revealed that it is preparing an event of its own.
Years ago, the company stopped supporting E3, but held its presentation, EA Play Live, as part of the ESA event in June, so, although in a separate venue in Los Angeles, Electronic Arts as part of E3’s week of intense announcements.
Last year was the only time Electronic Arts’ presentation was not held alongside E3 2020, due to the latter’s cancellation.
Electronic Arts EA Play Live 2021 to be held later than usual
Although there will be a virtual E3 2021 this year, Electronic Arts have just announced that its event will not be part of the calendar of the ESA’s big event, since EA Play Live 2021 will be broadcast a little more than 1 month after E3 2021, on July 22.
This will perhaps discourage many fans who were hoping to hear news about the company’s games on the sidelines of E3 2021. However, we recommend you look on the bright side, as Electronic Arts have already confirmed that it will reveal the next Battlefield in June.
The company did not anticipate what we could expect from its presentation in July, but there will likely be more news about the new Battlefield, although it is not ruled out that it may decide to dedicate the event to other games.
