The first images of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 confirm that it will have an under-screen camera. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 will have a much larger external display.
Samsung has hit the mark this year with the Galaxy S21 Series. However, for a couple of generations now, these have not been the brand’s bastions of innovation and design. That is left for the foldable models. This year we should see at least two, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
This is how the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will look like
Samsung is preparing a continuist evolution in design for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. They will not have the same language as the S21 and its camera will not be so striking, something that is appreciated not to add to the thickness of the terminal, already quite high.
The eye-catcher, however, will be on the inside. It will be there that we will see the new under-screen camera technology Samsung has been working on in practice. We already saw a commercial model from ZTE with this feature, but it wasn’t particularly useful, especially in terms of quality.
Samsung has been working for longer and if they finally use it in this model, as it seems, it is sure to be because they have managed to achieve more than decent quality standards.
It will also include support for a new S-Pen, designed not to scratch the weakest flexible screens.
First images of the Galaxy Z Flip 3
Along with this model have leaked images, also promotional, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3.
This device is smaller and more compact, although in this generation it has gained a larger external screen, probably what we liked the least when we reviewed it last year.
The external front part has two cameras, placed vertically, and integrated into a black element that makes the screen go unnoticed. It is likely to use OLED technology, so the black elements will be perfectly integrated into this part of the casing.
Both models are expected to be launched in July, although this is not yet confirmed.
