If you don’t know how to activate the ClearType feature for better looking fonts on Windows 10, we are going to help you out. Unfortunately because of the pandemic, we spend more and more hours in front of our computer. This might be really overwhelming for our eyes so this feature will surely come in handy.
How to activate ClearType feature for better looking fonts on Windows 10?
ClearType is born to improve the readability of text within the Edge browser and Windows 10. Previously it could be activated through a flag in Edge, but it is no longer available, but we can go ahead and try this feature before anyone else.
To test the ClearType feature in Windows 10, we simply need to type “cttune.exe” (without quotes) to the search box into the Start Menu and press enter.
Then, a screen called “ClearType Text Tuner” will appear, allowing us to check or uncheck this feature. We can turn on the feature from this menu.
Once we activate the feature and hit advance, we will have several options to choose from. Choose the settings you like the most.
