Ryse: Son of Rome 2 reportedly in development as multiplatform, according to the rumor. An insider indicates that the sequel to the Xbox One classic would already be a confirmed reality.
No matter how spectacular a video game looks, the simple graphic section may not always be enough to stand out in the industry. This is something that the PlayStation side knew for example with The Order, and from Xbox, we could point in a very similar measure to Ryse: Son of Rome. Now, it seems that a Ryse: Son of Rome 2 could be closer and closer, although leaving behind the exclusive framework of the first installment.
Ryse: Son of Rome 2 reportedly in development for more platforms besides Xbox
It was Shpeshal_Ed, from the popular XboxEra podcast (via Reddit), who unveiled the latest news about what seems to be Ryse: Son of Rome 2. Before we dig into what’s new, let’s remember that it was during the end of last 2020 that the rumor already surfaced that a sequel was in development for the IP, along with many other Crytek projects. In such a sense, it is clear that this is not an isolated and unprecedented rumor, as it would make it somewhat more difficult to believe in it.
Returning to Shpeshal_Ed, he points out that it was during July of last 2020 that an anonymous person contacted him with confidential information that he was not sure he could share. Time passed since then and it was this April that Shpeshal_Ed was contacted again by the same user, showing in the process, the insider claims, quite truthful images for the project. It was then that he was informed that, indeed, Ryse: Son of Rome 2 was a reality, arriving in this case as a multiplatform video game.
