We have talked many times about the Canary version of Edge browser and now Microsoft launches it for Android devices. It is a test version for those who what to try the improvements that will reach the stable version of Edge later. An option that macOS and Windows users had that now comes to Android.
Microsoft has launched the application to offer the Edge tests in the app store. Now we can download Edge Canary Channel from Google Play to start testing the new features from the mobile phone.
Microsoft Edge Canary is released for Android
Available for now only on Android while iOS is on hold, Edge Canary offers the same advantages we have already experienced on its desktop counterpart.
And as with the desktop version, Edge Canary will be updated daily, this being one of the differences with the Dev Channel version, which receives a weekly update, or the Beta Channel, with a monthly update schedule. It is the same treatment that Chrome Canary receives.
The browser has a slightly improved user interface over the existing Edge version, but along with the logo, we will see changes on the version number, which in this case is 91.0.858.0 instead of version 46.03.24.5155 of the stable version. You can download this version for Android from Google Play now.
