Today TCL has presented the renewal of its mid-range smartphones; 20L, 20L+, and 20 Pro 5G are out and today we are going to talk about their specs, price, and release date. The company seeks to have an offer that, by performance and price, covers a good spectrum, by approaching many users looking for a smartphone of a medium price and nice performance.

We can practically say that these two new phones are twins, as there are minimal differences between the two, something you can check in the table above.
The two smartphones are built around a Snapdragon 662 processor (eight Kryo 260 cores at 2GHz and 1.8GHz and Adreno 610 GPU), aimed at the mid-range and without support for 5G. Thus, we are talking about two 4G devices. We find 4GB LPDDR4x on the TCL 20L and 6GB LPDDR4x on the 20L+. The 20L has 128GB storage and TCL 20L+ has 256GB storage. These are practically the only differences between them.
The two models phones come with a 6.67-inch display with Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and 20:9 aspect ratio. Despite not having 5G, these phones have support for: 4G-LTA, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and the main global positioning systems (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, etc.). The new TLC phones come with a 5,000mAh battery without quick charging.
The main camera of the TCL 20L is 48MP, while the 20L+ goes up to 64MP. But both of them come with an 8MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP portrait sensor. The front camera comes with a 16MP sensor.

Inside we find a Snapdragon 750 5G processor which, as its name suggests, does offer next-generation 5G mobile connectivity, and is built with Kyro 570 processors and an Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by a 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB storage, expandable with a MicroSD card up to 1TB.
TLC 20 Pro 5G’s display is built with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) in a 20:9 aspect ratio. Its pixel density is 394dpi and its brightness can be maintained at up to 700 nits. It is compatible with the HDR10 specification and has a TÜV Rheinland certification.
This phone comes with 5G connectivity, and also it has Bluetooth 5.1 support. It has a 4500mAh battery with 18W quick -charging support.
It has a 48MP Sony IMX582 main camera supported with a 16MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait sensor. It also features a 32MP front camera for selfies.
TCL 20L, 20L+ and 20 Pro 5G price and release date
TCL 20 Pro 5G will hit the European market in the upcoming weeks with a 229 euros price tag. TCL 20L and TCL 20L+ will also arrive on the market soon with 229 euros and 269 euros price tags respectively. The official prices for the US market are not yet announced but the most expensive model should be sold at around $320.
