The Nike Lakers Dunk High was created in the early 2000s, following the aesthetics of the 80’s sneakers. This week the American company announced the release of the Dunk High EMB, with the Lakers theme and the Nike logo of the 80s. Its sale will begin on April 29.
The concept takes us back to the 80s, when the dominance of the Lakers in the NBA was tremendous, fought only by the Boston Celtics.
The Nike Dunk High EMB has purple and black as predominant colors, with the swoosh in yellow from the side to the back. It features the Nike name using the 1980s Lakers typography.
On the tongue are the current logo and the 80’s logo of the sneaker company, an exquisite touch.
The laces are black, while the insole is green. The soles are black and white. In the area over the toes, the texture is perforations.
There was no word on how much the sneakers would cost or where they would be sold, so more news is expected within the next few days.
The Nike Dunk Low Team Green will also be released
The company will also introduce a Nike Dunk Low Team Green model, sneakers in the same style as the Lakers’ but with a low cut and the Celtics’ colors, but without the name of the team. However, Nike will follow the design of the Spartan Green Highs, which were unveiled in 2020. It will be sold for 100$ starting from May 13.
The predominant colors are green and white, with the swoosh in green, as well as the laces. They also have small perforations in the area above the toes. The soles are white and green.
The insoles are black, with the Nike logo and name in red. This logo also appears on the tongue, but in green. On the back of the shoe, at ankle level, is the Nike name in white on a green background.
