At a time when electronic equipment is becoming more and more disposable due to the advance of technology, Nokia is here to launch six new mid-range smartphones under the X, C, and G series and we are going to talk about their specs, price, and release date.
The Finnish manufacturer reinforces its mid-range line. And they boast of the durability of the equipment. They offer update and modification times in their software that exceed three years. This would go hand in hand with quality in the cover and screen exteriors.
We want to highlight what the company offers by announcing those products under one aim only: durability. This new family of phones is divided into premium, intermediate and basic range, which translates into mid-range and entry.
“Nokia smartphones come with security and software updates for extra piece of mind. And we want people to keep their phones for longer, thanks to our signature durability,” said Florian Seiche, CEO of HMD Global.
Nokia X-Series, G-Series and C-Series are launched
There are a total of six new devices. Nokia classifies them in three different levels between quality and price: X-Series, G-Series, and C-Series.
Nokia X20 and X10 specs and price
These two devices can be identified as the flagship of this launch of the Finnish company. Let’s start with the processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 480, compatible with 5G connectivity technology. It arrives directly with Android 11 and three years of software and security updates.
It also has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display. This is the most expensive model of the series and the X20 will be sold for $415 and the X10 will be sold for $367.
Nokia G20 and G10 specs and price
Can the quality of performance be downgraded? Yes, but this Nokia HMD series makes up for it with three days of battery life in regular use. It has a 6.5-inch screen. It comes with a MediaTek G35 with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. As for the operating system update, they ensure two years and three in security systems. The G series would cost something like $165 for the G10 and about $189 for the G20.
Nokia C20 and C10 specs and price
Like all of them, they also arrive with the latest version of Android. The difference is in until when they will receive support from the company in terms of updates. Of the three, this is the one that will have the least time. In fact, while the other two ensure a minimum of two years, the C series only dares to detail the quarterly security updates. As for the operating system, they state that it will depend on the modifications and compatibility that the industry will allow. The C20 would cost approximately $105 and the C10 $90.
