The iPad Pro would still arrive this year but would have very limited stocks. Apple’s new tablet would suffer the consequences of the global shortage.
The global shortage has put the entire technology industry in check. Doubts have been raised as to whether some products will finally arrive or not due to this shortage. It was the case of the iPad Pro, which was in the air, but it seems that even with everything will arrive.
Or so at least says Bloomberg, which specifies that this year we will continue to have the iPad Pro on the market but with certain problems of shortages. The portal claims that Apple’s suppliers are having problems with the low production speeds of its new Mini LED screens.
Recall that this kind of screen is those that will mount the iPad Pro this year, especially in the 12.9-inch model. The problem would have become so serious that, according to Bloomberg, one of the suppliers would have stopped its production.
Problems with the iPad Pro
Last week the Asian media warned that iPad production was suffering from the general shortage of components in the industry. It did not specify models, but it did specify that the problem resided in the screens and their derivative components.
Mark Gurman, a journalist specializing in Apple, explains that his sources assure that the new iPad Pro will be presented at the end of April, despite the problem of shortages. Apple would set a later on-sale date for the iPad Pro, as the smaller model would not include this new display technology.
On the other hand, these new iPad Pro would feature processors with similar power to the M1 chip found in current MacBooks as well as better cameras and higher-capacity USB-C ports. There is no specific date for the arrival of these iPads, but all these rumors confirm that even with all the problems the industry is experiencing, Apple’s new tablet would eventually arrive.
However, it remains to be seen not only the availability of this new iPad Pro in the future but also its price. This could become more expensive given all these improvements, especially with the inclusion of the Mini-LED panel and limited production could come to influence the cost. It depends on whether or not the shortage also causes speculation on the new iPad Pro in the end.
