WhatsApp will include the option to move your chats between iPhone and Android very soon. If you have ever switched from Android to iPhone or vice versa, one of the problems you have encountered likely was when trying to move your WhatsApp chats from one phone to another. And although there are ways to move WhatsApp chats from iPhone to Android and vice versa, the truth is that these methods are not as simple as you might expect, especially when compared to those of other alternative messaging apps.
Luckily for all those who at some point have thought about switching to the rival platform, WABetaInfo has confirmed that very soon WhatsApp will allow you to move chats from iOS to Android, and vice versa.
In the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, a new feature included in WhatsApp will give the possibility to move the history of chats and messages from WhatsApp for iOS to Android, or vice versa.
Apparently, to carry out this process, both devices must have downloaded the latest available version of WhatsApp.
At the moment, this function is not enabled, and we will have to wait for a future update of the application to be able to use it.
Both this feature, as well as other tools WhatsApp has been working on for some time, are related to the option of using WhatsApp on multiple devices that should arrive very soon, allowing access to the chat history from all devices associated with the same account. For now, WhatsApp has also not confirmed the date of arrival of this new feature.
