In recent weeks we have been witnessing a whole series of rumors and leaks of what Motorola is about to launch. Among them is the Moto G50, an economic device whose design has just been leaked in full, along with the list of its main technical features.
Under Lenovo, the Motorola brand continues to play in the mid-range and even high-end league. Also, it has been one of the first companies to link a foldable smartphone, resurrecting the Razr family. Just over a week ago, we had the first leak of the Moto G50, but now is when we have been able to see its design in all its glory.
This is what the Moto G50 looks like
Now it has been the DealnTech media that has completely unveiled the design of the Moto G50, making it clear that we are facing a mid-range phone that can reach the entry range. As we see in the images, the phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and a screen/frame ratio that is not the most rushed we’ve seen, so that further enhances the economic character of the device.
In these networks can be seen the triple rear camera and reading 48MP QUAD PIXEL”. You can also see an LED flash and as we say, the rear sensor in the Motorola logo. The Moto G50 will also sport a drop-shaped notch where the 13MP front sensor is housed. It is expected that next to the main sensor, there will be 5 and 2MP sensors, serving as macro and depth. The curious thing is that the leak indicates that its screen will have a refresh rate of 90 Hz, something that is gradually reaching even the lower price ranges.
As for its power, we can not expect the highest, but the presence of a Snapdragon 480, a modest but sufficient chip to provide the Moto G50 with 5G connectivity. In the images, we can see at least two colors in which the phone could arrive, with a blue tone and another in green. When the handset was first leaked a few days ago, we saw how a retailer set the price of the Moto G50 around $300, something that of course we have to take with a grain of salt.
When will it arrive?
Recently we also heard about the existence of a Moto G20, in addition to the protagonist of this news. At the moment we do not know when Motorola plans to unveil them. The closest clue we have is next March 25. On that day, Motorola is expected to present the Moto G100 (also known as Motorola Edge S), and who knows if there will also be room for this Moto G50 and other phones of the company.
