Apple is updating Pages, Numbers, and Keynote apps with several new features. The company has its own office apps under the iWork package available to all iOS and macOS users.
Meet the new features of Pages, Numbers and Keynote coming with the new update
The main new features that we will find as soon as we update Pages, Numbers and Keynote on our Mac are found in the updated multimedia browser with improved search options and new content categories such as Recent, Portraits, and Live Photos.
The option to add phone number links to table cells, objects, and shapes has also been added. In addition, an AppleScript feature has been added to change a document’s password or open a password-protected document.
Keynote, the presentation application, includes an option to view presenter notes, the current slide, and the next slide in a separate window.
To be able to enjoy all the features offered by iWork, our computer must at least have macOS 10.14. iWork works perfectly well in previous versions but many of the features that Apple has been introducing in recent years are only available from macOS Mojave.
Apple also releases an update for iWork for iOS
Apple released a new update for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote yesterday for both iOS and macOS. The iOS version brings tools to add on-screen keyboards.
It also includes a new feature to add or remove objects or cells from a selection table by tapping or dragging. Another new feature is the ability to open documents in an edit mode, phone number links can be added to table cells.
In addition, editing controls have been added to the Inspector that allows you to adjust the appearance and placement of objects.
